iPad Review | Best iPad Mini and iPad Air Accessories
Once you have your ideal Apple iPad it’s time to tailor it to your exact needs and use it to it’s maximum potential. Apple iPad accessories range from wired camera connection kit and Digital AV adapter to connect via HDMI to a TV or projector to wireless keyboards and media players that stream via wireless to your TV. By far my favorite accessory is the Apple TV, using Airplay on your iPad you can control what is viewed on your Apple TV. Fire up YouTube or NetFlix on your iPad and watch it on you large screen TV.
iPad Camera Connection Kit
While the Apple iPad Mini and iPad Air both lack an SD card slot it’s not an issue with an iPad (also works with the iPhone etc) Camera Connection Kit. Two adapters work well here – the Lightning to SD Card and the Lightning to USB Camera adapters. Plug your camera directly into the USB adaptor or remove the SD card and use the SD card adapter. It’s not obvious but these adaptors work in one direction – getting pictures INTO your iPad, they cannot be used to backup or transfer pictures or videos from your iPad to another device. That aside they are excellent at transferring pictures and video into the iPad for editing and subsequent uploading to your photostream or YouTube, etc. More …
